In 2026, The Egg hosted over 200 events, from world-class dance and comedy, to sold-out rock concerts and inspiring acoustic performances. We reopened to share newly renovated lobbies and theaters, launch a new visual identity, exponentially increase our social media presence, and program an incredible season of shows and free events. Hundreds of thousands of you visited the ellipse on the Empire State Plaza.
Looking towards 2027, engaging, creative free programming is a priority. Here’s where you can help – we hope to raise $5,000. Every dollar will cover costs to screen your favorite movie, pay artists, rent arcade games in the lobby, partner with local organizations, and keep dreaming up new ideas. Membership
Membership contributions help The Egg to continue its growth as a premiere presenter of dance, music, theatre, comedy and family entertainment by the finest artists from across New York State, the United States and the world! All members receive early notice of presentations by The Egg, and the opportunity to purchase tickets to each event before they go on sale to the general public.

Volunteer
We’re excited to invite you to be part of our dynamic team of volunteers at The Egg! As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to engage with our audience, assist with ticketing, guide guests, and support our staff in creating memorable performances and events.

Requirements for participation:
- Must be at least 14 years of age
- Able to perform the required duties
- Willing to perform one full year of service as a volunteer
- Willing to commit to a minimum of 10 performances per year.

Corporate sponsor support allows us to continue our tradition of offering the highest quality performing arts at affordable prices. Thousands of people attend performances at The Egg with a total of 1,435 seats between our two theatres.
