Tickets

Q: How can I order tickets?
A: Tickets can be purchased at the following locations for all Egg Events:

  • The Egg Box Office located on the concourse level of the Empire State Plaza, Albany, NY
  • Online at theegg.org
  • By phone at 518-473-1845
  • By fax at 518-473-1848
  • By mail at The Egg Box Office
    P.O. Box 2065, Albany, NY 12220

 

Q: What do I do if I lost my ticket?
A: The Egg is not responsible for lost or misplaced tickets. Customers who purchased their tickets through The Egg should call the Box Office at (518) 473-1845 during regular business hours.

Q: I purchased tickets to a show but I am not the one attending the show is that ok?
A: That’s fine, however you will need to call the box office (518) 473-1845 immediately to let us know that the name on the tickets needs to be changed. We WILL NOT give out tickets to someone whose name is not on the tickets without confirmation from the account holder.

Q: My tickets are oddly/evenly numbered. Are my tickets next to each other?
A: YES! The left and the right hand side sections are seated with odds on the left and evens on the right.

Q: What is your exchange/refund policy for tickets?
A: Refunds are issued ONLY in the event of a show cancellation or date change. There are no refunds or exchanges allowed for any other circumstances.

Q: What is Will Call and how can I pick up my tickets?
A: Will Call is located at the Box Office next to the current sales window. Look for the window with the Will Call sign above the window. Tickets will be available for will call pick-up 1 hour before the performance begins.

Q: What do I need to pick up my tickets with at the Will Call window?
A: Only the person who purchased the tickets is allowed to pick up the tickets with a valid photo ID. If someone else is to pick up the tickets you must call the Box Office to let them know of the change and they will need to come with a valid photo ID to pick up the tickets under the original name.

Q: Do you offer student rates?
A: Student rush is offered on selected events one hour before the performance starts. Students with valid student ID’s will get tickets at half price. Limit: 2 tickets per student ID. Please call in advance to confirm that student rush tickets will be available.

Q: I need ADA accessible seating, but can’t seem to do it online. What do I do?
A: Please call the Box Office at (518) 473-1845.

Q: Do you offer hearing devices for people with impaired hearing?
A: Hearing assistance devices available for loan. Please call the Box Office at (518) 473-1845 when purchasing your tickets so we can have the device available upon your arrival.

Theatre Information

Q: When do doors open?
A: Doors generally open 30 minutes prior to show time unless otherwise stated.

Q: How do you deal with seating latecomers?
A: Late seating is handled at the discretion of the performing artist and the theater manager. Occasionally audience members arriving after the performance has started will be asked to wait until an appropriate interval to be seated, or may be asked to take seats other than those reserved to minimize distractions for the artists and audience.

Q: How long does the Box Office stay open on show nights?
A: The Box Office will stay open until 30 minutes after the performance has started. Tickets will not be available for purchase after this time. “Will call” tickets may be picked up from the operator on “Elevator #2” once the box office closes.

Q: Are refreshments available and allowed in the theatre?
A: Yes! But please do not bring in outside food or beverages, and remember to remove your own trash at the end of the show.

Q: Can I take pictures on my phone?
A: Unless otherwise specified by the performer or their management, taking photos and videos on your personal cell phone is permitted from your seat. If posting to social media, please tag @theeggpac. Please make sure your flash is OFF. Flash photography is strickly prohibited, as it is a distraction to the performers.

Q: Can I bring my camera to take photos and get close to the stage?
A: No, the use of cameras and recording equipment during a performance is strictly forbidden unless authorized by The Marketing Director. Authorized photographers and videographers must have venue credentials.

Q: Do you have a lost and found?
A: Any articles left in the theatres will be turned in to the House Manager who can be reached at (518) 473-2210.

Q: Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, Gift Certificates for The Egg can be purchased in person online HERE, The Egg Box Office or over the phone by calling 518-473-1845.

To report an item lost or stolen or to inquire if we have found your item after a performance you attended, please call The Box Office (518) 473-1845 and we will help you as best as we can.

Q: Are there any nearby restaurants or hotels?
Yes, please contact the Albany County Visitors Bureau for a list.
